Club Legends Cup

The Club Legends Cup 2015 has been cancelled.

Cure Leukaemia regrets to announce that this year’s Club Legends Cup has been cancelled.

Pre-tournament ticket sales have not reached the same levels as last year, which means the indoor football event – scheduled to be staged at the Barclaycard Arena, Birmingham, on July 11 – may not have proved profitable for the blood cancer charity.

Cure Leukaemia would like to thank the players who had committed to appearing in the tournament, and everyone who had either bought tickets or placed bids to play alongside the legends, for their support. All purchased tickets will be refunded.

"It was a brilliant day. Thanks to everyone who took part and especially the fans who played. It was all about making the fans feel like legends for the day and to raise a fantastic amount of money for a truly great charity in Cure Leukaemia and we succeeded on both fronts. I’m delighted Blues were able to lift the Club Legends Cup as well!"
